Founder and Managing Director
Fiona Watts founded International Private Finance (IPF) in January 2008 with Simon Smallwood. Fiona Watts is Joint Managing Director and in addition to managing the operations side of the business she also looks after all of the key, retail banking relationships for IPF. Additionally, Fiona works with IPF’s clients who are looking for larger International finance facilities and who have particularly complex profiles. She is fully CeMAP-qualified, the industry standard qualification held by mortgage advisors in the UK. It is the benchmark qualification in the financial services industry.
Prior to founding International Private finance Fiona ran the International Mortgage division of Baydonhill Plc. Before this, Fiona trained as a Paralegal whilst working at the Scrivener Notaires, John Venn & Sons.
Fiona holds a degree in History from Kings College, London. She speaks fluent Spanish and has spent considerable time living and working abroad.
Fiona is passionate about female entrepreneurship and juggles running Europe’s leading international mortgage broker with the demands of bringing up a young family.
